Florida Attractions - Top 3 Florida Attractions

Florida has far more to offer than many people realize. Whether you are a nature enthusiast or a theme-park fanatic, Florida has the attraction to accommodate your taste.

1. Disney Word. One of Florida’s most renowned tourist locations are Walt Disney World. Walt Disney World is about the size of San Francisco and has enough entertainment to last a lifetime. With four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM, and Magic Kingdom), two water parks, over 20 on-property resorts, six golf courses, a sports complex, and several shopping areas, Disney has more to offer than any other theme park resort in the world.

2. Busch Gardens Africa. Busch Gardens Africa is a fairly large, African themed park that could easily provide an entire day of entertainment. Busch Gardens provides fun for the whole family and features animals, live shows and several large roller coasters, including the world"s only dive coaster.

3. Cypress Gardens Adventure Park. Cypress Gardens has been around since January 2, 1936 and continues to provide family fun. If you visited cypress in its earlier years and were dazzled by the beautiful Southern Belles and expansive Gardens, be prepared for possible disappointment. The park closed in April of 2003 but reopened in December of 2004 after changing ownership and undergoing renovation. The renovation included the addition of 39 rides as well as the Splash Island water park that comes free with admission. Additionally, the Southern Belle"s no longer remain on display throughout the botanical gardens but instead appear for photo opportunities at designated times. The coasters aren"t as thrilling as the ones at Busch, but would be perfect for younger children and those who prefer milder coasters.
